Following are award-winning photos of each category.

○Honorable Mention(1person ×1photo)??????????????????????????????????????????

Experience Award: “Transferred a Bus Here”?by Yuya Tagawa, Junior @Faculty of Literature and Human Sciences (Summer Program at University of Hamburg, Germany, August-September, 2017)

?

【Winner's comments on prize-winning and the photo】I am very pleased to receive an Experience Award. I am glad that I applied for this contest. I took a photo of the bus which I used every day to go to university. This city bus which is a lot larger than the one in Japan, looks unique to me as various pictures are drawn on the body and at the same time I enjoyed watching the pictures. This area has also become a place of memories to me as it is a bus transfer location and I enjoyed shopping and going to café after school.

○Third Prize(1person ×2 photos)????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Composition Award: “The Parliament Building”/Rows of Cherry Blossom Trees on Yates Street”?by Yukihiko Kobayashi, Sophomore @Faculty of Literature and Human Sciences (Spring Program at University of Victoria, Canada, March-April, 2018)

???

【Winner's comments on prize-winning and the photos】I feel so honored to be evaluated like this with the photos that I have taken as a hobby. The photo of “the Parliament Building” was taken when my friend and I visited there just a few days after my arrival at Victoria. As the flowers on the road to the entrance were so pretty the building was shot with them. ”Rows of Cherry Blossom Trees on Yates Street” is the one that I could not resist taking as I was so impressed to see the cherry blossoms at their best in Canada, as well.

○Second Prize(1person ×2 photos)????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Sky Award: “Rainbows above the Graveyard”, "Munich Scenery"?by Kumiko Doke, Senior @Faculty of Business (Summer School at University of Hamburg, Germany, August-September, 2017)

???

【Winner's comments on prize-winning and the photos】I feel so honored to be awarded this time. “Rainbows above the Graveyard” was taken in the countryside called Neuhaus where I got off by mistake when I was traveling Germany by myself. “Munich Scenery” is the scenery toward Marienplatz taken from the Tower of St. Peter’s Church.

○First Prize/Grand Prize(1person ×1 photo)???????????????????????????????????????????????

Water Mirror Award: “Another World He Does Not Know”?by Hiroki Hata, Junior @Faculty of Economics (Seminar at St Petersburg University, Russia, September, 2017)

?

【Winner's comments on prize-winning and the photo】I feel so honored to receive the Water Mirror Award. I would like to continue to leave memorable scenes in the form of photos. I took a photo of the Hermitage Museum reflected in the puddle. The Hermitage Museum is located in the walking distance from St Petersburg University where I studied, thus I often visited there. I clearly remember that I was touched by the scenery of the museum after sunset as it gave such a different impression from the daytime.
